The Federal Government has ordered all civil servants to leave work by 1pm on Tuesday.
This is because of the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifying match between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Black Stars of Ghana scheduled for evening time on Tuesday.
According to the circular issued by the Head of Service of the Federation, the early closure of offices on Tuesday is to help garner support for the Super Eagles.
The Nigerian Super Eagles were held by the Ghanaians in Friday’s pulsating first leg, when the Austin Eguavoen-led side failed to turn up.
