The former Governor of Cross River state, Donald Duke has called stupid, anyone who will vote for a candidate they know will underperform.
Duke who is now of the People’s Democratic Party fold, ran for president under the auspices of the Social Democratic Party in 2019 but lost.
Duke said, “it is a very stupid statement to say ‘I am going to vote for someone I know will be a disaster but I think he would win. I mean, are you listening to yourself?
“Will you do that to your family? ‘I am going to waste the vote,’ is it money? People who think that way are stupid and deserve what they get,” added the 60-year-old.
