Yobe State Governor, Governor Mai Buni has declared Monday and Tuesday as public holidays to welcome President Muhammadu Buhari to the state.
This was said in a statement made on Sunday in Damaturu by the state’s head of service, Alhaji Garba Bilal.
Bilal said: “This is to enable civil servants and the general public to receive the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, who will be in the state on a one-day State Visit to commission projects.”
The recently completed Maternal Child Health Care Complex, Yobe International Cargo Airport and Ultra-Modern Market are all anticipated to receive official opening ceremonies from President Buhari.
