American-Senegalese singer, Aliaune Damala Badara Akon Thiam, better known as Akon has eulogized Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, calling him a super star.
The 49-year-old was speaking with Sway Universe’s Sway Calloway and friends on the prospects of afrobeat, when he said this.
Akon, who featured on one of Balogun’s 2014 song titled Escape, said the Nigerian is so good, he only needs to release a song a year to top the charts.
“Wizkid is just a super star. He’s one of those guys that put out one record a year and that record lasts the whole year. Like he’s just a born star without a doubt,” Akon said.
