Popular Nigerian comedian and Actor — Adebowale David Ibrahim Adedayo, professionally known as Mr Macaroni has vented out at Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, saying the insecurity in Lagos State has worsened under the tenure of the governor.
The skit-maker now turn activist was reacting to the incident of a female lawyer, Bolanle Raheem, who was shot dead by a policeman in the Ajah area of Lagos State on Christmas Day.
It was reported that the woman was trying to make a U-turn under the Ajah Bridge when the cop shot at her vehicle. The bullet was said to have hit the victim and she was rushed to a hospital, where she was confirmed dead.
Macaroni took to his Twitter account to say: “Dear Governor BabaJide SanwoOlu, The level of Insecurity, oppression, brutality and extrajudicial killings since you became Governor has worsened. You don’t control the police? Ok. But you are the Chief Security Officer of the state. What are you doing about it, sir?”
