A fan of Liverpool forward, Sadio Mane could not hold back his tears when he met his idol some days ago.
Mane’s encounter with the joyful fan took place while the Senegalese star was on international duty with his national side.
Ahead of Senegal’s game against Benin on Saturday, Mane came across a fan who was overcome with emotion in his presence.
Tears of joy flowed down his cheeks and he hugged the former Southampton man twice.
According to Empire of the Kop, the fan told Mane: “Sadio, I love you so much. I even reached out to the people from your village just to meet you. Sadio, may God grant you a long life and fill you with health.”
Sports Bible confirmed that Mane took down his phone number before leaving.
