The supporters of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Presidential candidate of APC, have been seen forcing transport workers to pay N500 for Tinubu’s stickers in Lagos.
In a video below, some tricycle riders were seen arguing with other men about the matter.
Switch Nigeria found out that as the 2023 Presidential elections draw near, such cases have become prevalent in Lagos, where the APC standard bearer hails from.
One Oloye said on Twitter, “Tinubu is forcing transport workers to buy his sticker to raise campaign funds. You refuse and you get dealt with. This is the guy educated people are queuing behind?”
Temi said, “Meanwhile I was in a bus in Lagos. The driver had a BAT hat on. I asked him if that was his choice candidate and he said no. He’s wearing the hat cos the garage movers and shakers have forced them all to. Some even go a far as not giving you tickets or seizing your keys.”
“I witnessed this too yesterday at kola area ooo.. them they force stickers on keke people oo.. very useless set of people,” Gab Rich said.
