The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain, Elizabeth Truss has announced her resignation.
Truss was appointed Prime Minister on September 5th, replacing Boris Johnson.

In that time, her approval ratings have been so low, lower than number one opposition party, Labour. Truss was a Conservative.
In the past 40 days, the UK economy has also apparently crashed, shown by the drastic fall of the Pound Sterling. This is in addition to the historic spike in the country’s borrowing cost, which is a far cry from what used to be the lowest in the G-7.
Liz Truss said, “I recognize that given the situation, I cannot deliver the mandate on which I was elected by the Conservative Party.”
