Abel Ogwuche’s own goal gave the South American the lead in the twentieth minutes while Cortes converted a spotkick the double the lead nine minutes later.
The West African side responded via Jude Sunday in the fortieth minutes.
Asprila restored the two-goal cushion for the South American after the break.
Mohammed Ibeji and Emmanuel Umeh ensured the tie ends in a draw with two second half goals.
Prior to tonight’s meeting with Colombia, coach Ladan Bosso’s boys edged out Argentine club Almirante Brown 3-2 at the weekend.
Flying Eagles will face Dominican republic on Sunday 21st May in their group opener.
