Head coach of the Nigeria U-20 side, the Flying Eagles have stated that their elimination from this year’s AFCON is theirs to lose now while speaking in a pre match conference ahead of Mozambique clash.
A goal in the 70th minute from Solomon Agbalaka last Wednesday earned the seven-time African champions their first win in group A after falling to a defeat on matchday one against Senegal.
Speaking ahead of their last group stage encounter against Mozambique, the head coach of the side explained that the win over Egypt has calmed the nerves of his players.
“The win over Egypt has kept the nerves down and the boys can now focus on playing their game; the way we know they can play.
Bosso; “We must stamp our authority on the game from the beginning as we have no idea what will happen in the match between Egypt and Senegal. Our fate is in our hands.” Nigeria U20 coach, Ladan Bosso said.
Flying Eagles will take on Mozambique in the last game of group A on Saturday evening 6pm, knowing that a win would see them through to the quarter finals.
