Operatives of Lagos State Police Command have intercepted 150 bottles of illicit substances suspected to be skuchies in a Suzuki minibus along Igbo Agowa, Ikorodu, Lagos State.
The following suspects were apprehended while conveying skuchies during the stop and search: Francis Friday (Male) aged 30, Kemi Adeyemo (Female) aged 35 years and Nonso Orji (Male) aged 22 years.
Skuchies is a drink prepared in a shrine dedicated to late Afro Beat King, Fela Kuti. It is mixed with Indian hemp and made to look like zobo.
According to the PRO of Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, investigation is ongoing.
