Two people were left injured when a moving train rammed into a bus on the rail track.
The accident which involved a Toyota Hiace bus with registration number EKY 888 XW occurred at the Ilupeju Bye-pass, Lagos, on Tuesday, May 10.
According to eye witnesses, all vehicles plying that route were signaled to stop, but the driver of the Toyota bus wanted to do ‘fast man.’
The bus was recovered off the railway with the aid of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency’s light tow-truck and was taken to Railway Police Station, Mushin, thereby restoring the rail track to normalcy.
Other responders at the scene were the Nigeria Police Force, LASTMA Officers, Lagos State Neighborhood Safety Corps.
