The Lagos State Police Command has arrested two men for duping a woman in the guise to the tune of N7.5 million.
The duo duped the unnamed woman under the guise of providing “spiritual help” to her.
Spokesman of the police command, Benjamin Hundeyin disclosed this in a tweet on his handle.
According to him, the woman realised the fraud and approached the police.
He said the two were nabbed when they arranged to get another batch of money from her.
The police image maker said investigation is ongoing.
He said, “In Ikorodu, these two duped a woman to the tune of N7.5m under the guise of providing ‘spiritual help.’ She realized the fraud and approached the police.
“They were apprehended when they arranged to get another batch of funds from her. Investigation is ongoing.”
