After announcing his marriage a few hours ago, musician John Ighodaro, popularly known as Johnny Drille has cleared the air about his relationship with actress Tomi Ojo.
During a recent interview with HipTv, Johnny Drille clarified the purely platonic nature of his relationship with actress Tomi Ojo, known for her role in the movie “Far from Home.”
Before the surprising revelation of his wedding to Rima Tahini, an A&R executive at Mavin Records, rumours had been circulating about Johnny Drille’s romantic involvement with Ojo.
These rumours initially arose due to their on-screen chemistry in the music video for his heartfelt song titled “Believe Me.” The affectionate portrayal in the video fueled speculations about a possible real-life romance between the two individuals.
However, Johnny Drille cleared the air, saying: “First of all, if you watched the ‘Believe Me’ music video, you would know that there are two Ojos in the song, one is Wale Ojo, the other one is Tomi Ojo.
“It was in a way some kind of pun but it seemed to work well together. But as regards relationships, Tomi Ojo is an amazing person.
“She’s a fantastic person to work with. She’s very great for the music video. That is the much I can say. That’s all I can say.”
