One of the fake ‘bishops’ the APC hired to pose as Christian leaders at the unveiling of the Party’s Vice Presidential Candidate, Kashim Shettima, has spoken up about how he was deceived.
The man who gave his name as Joseph Odaudu said Bola Tinubu’s men broke the agreement they had and only gave him N40, 000 when the event was over.
“They came to meet us at the car park behind Eagle Square and they promised to give me N100,000. They bought food for us and took us to another place where they gave us clothes to dress like Christian leaders and reverend fathers,” he said in a conversation with People’s Gazette shortly after the event that was held at Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja.
The APC who are trying to make up for their choice of two Muslims for the country’s number 1 position, had hired impostors to dress up in clergy regalia, in order to give Nigerians the impression that Christian leaders also endorse the idea of two Muslims being president and vice.
“But after we finished they only gave me N40,000 and another person said they got only N30,000. I don’t know why they changed our agreement because they said they had N100,000 for us.
“I am a Christian and I am supporting Tinubu but I hate when people lie and fail to deliver on their promises,” he added.
The man who posed as a Roman Catholic priest was disowned by the Roman Catholic Church, who told newsmen later on that they had no representatives at the event.
