Feminism isn’t Biblical! Don’t fall for that western liberal movement that’s masquerading as “women emancipation”, “equality” and “women’s right” to throw away GOOD indigenous african norms and traditions, especially regarding the area of bride price payment, and above all, to also undermine the place of God, regarding His stand on sensitive issues like marriage, “equality in marriage”, and in the bigger picture, the church, which he purchased with an expensive price: His blood!
I still haven’t envisaged how you being a woman, makes you lesser than a man, how a man, paying bride price on your behalf, before marrying you, makes you lesser than him. Isn’t that one of the manifestations of low self esteem?
How does a man’s existence, make your own place as a woman, less? Why do you feel threatened and lessened by the fact that you’re a man? Isn’t that low self esteem? It is! Appreciate yourself for how you were created, ace.
Is Mrs Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala not married to a man? Did he not pay bride price on her head? How has she being his wife, stopped her from actualizing her dreams? How has she being married to him, with a fully paid bride price, diminished her person, position, place and status in life?
Was Queen Elizabeth II, the queen of the united kingdom and leader of the common wealth common wealth realms, not married to a man for decades? How did her being married to Prince Philip Mountbatten stop her from actualizing her dreams? And I know you’re going to want to use that predictable excuse of “she’s royal and is oppurtuned”, but she’s still a woman, which I assume that according to your theory of women-are-lesser, should make her vunerable, atleast to a degree, being that she’s a woman! But she’s very much the accomplished monarch that she was born to be!
Queen Elizabeth II, Britain’s current reigning monarch and head of the Commonwealth nations
Who again will I speak of? Because the list is actually endless! The world is littered with women who are comfortably fighting for women’s rights (when it’s downtrodden on), without inducing a subtle hatred for men under the umbrella of feminism. Yes, you read that right! Today’s version of feminism, especially those displayed on social media apps by emotionally wounded and traumatized women, is clearly designed to sow, nurture and protect misandry.
I will say this again! The very idea of feminism, is designed and targeted to induce hatred in women towards men! It’s a perfectly disguised comfortable takeoff platform for man-hate, something that is insidiously eating into the fragile fabric of society at an alarming and disturbing rate, globally.
It’s strength lies in the reverse psychology of “PATRIARCHY.” Using patriarchy as a tool to induce a subtle but powerful antagonism against the men folk.
Mothers, shield and protect your daughters from this thick , blinding web of subtle and extreme feminism, that is blowing across the world!
It’s so bad that african women, from communities whose culture demand a form of traditional bride price paid by the groom, to the bride’s family, no longer want bride prices paid on their behalfs, all because they feel that it makes them lesser than the man! How did it get to this stage? When did it become this bad?
It’s strength, arguement and lie in the reverse psychology summarized in one word, PATRIARCHY
Don’t get me wrong, I’m an advocate for women’s right when it’s trampled upon, because every woman is a human being, before even being a woman.
But you see that word “feminism”? IT DOESN’T IN ANY WAY EQUAL “WOMEN’S RIGHT”, it’s another witty strategy of getting this leftists’ idea of western liberalism, into Africa, inorder to destroy, undermine, steal and replace the good norms and cultures we have kept from generation to generation with something that isn’t real.
Yes, it sounds inviting, it’s energetic and somehow it appeals to your empathic side, when you want to consider that women, sadly, have been at the receiving end of domestic, physical, sexual and all other forms of abuse. But look well and deep, and you’ll find out what it really is!
There’s a thousand and one ways one can advocate for women’s right without dragging in that F- word. Cos that f-word encompasses a lot more, than what it says it does.
Infact, what feminism stands for, is a total far cry from the real idea of women’s right and “social equality.”
Don’t be deceived! These days extreme ideologies are sugar coated with fancy names, dipped in sweet tasty chocolate and handed out freely, to anyone who cares to taste. And sadly, we africans are taking big bites out of this deadly sugars, and even wanting more.
Don’t be deceived! These days extreme ideologies are sugar coated with fancy names, dipped in sweet tasty chocolate and handed out freely, to anyone who cares to taste.
I say it again with a heavy heart, mothers, fathers, parents and guardians, shield your children against this very wild, strong and powerful arm of western liberalism, tornado-ing into our homes and snatching our daughters from us before we even realize it.
I know you’re curious to know what the other arms of western liberalism entell, but that will definitely be a talk for another day!
Don’t swallow hook-line-and-sinker every new policy the world comes up with, always always! Return and refer to the scripture for biblical guidance on sensitive issues of this nature.
Guard your heart, your children and your homes!
