In the early hours of Tuesday, the Super Falcons played out a 2:2 draw with the Olympic Champions, Canada in Victoria.
This came after the Nigerian women lost 2 nil to the Canadians in the first leg of the friendly played in Vancouver over the weekend.
Nigeria took the lead through NJ/NY Gotham FC forward, Ifeoma Onumonu in the 5th minute, after she drilled a back heel into the host’s net.
Christine Sinclair equalized for the hosts in the 49th before Rashidat Ajibade restored Nigeria’s lead in the 53rd minute.
Canada, however, drew level, again, in the 88th minute following sustained pressure as Shelina Zadorsky’s header was enough to ensure the game ended in a stalemate.
The West Africans are preparing for the African Women Cup of Nations.
