John Noble, the captain of Enyimba and the Super Eagles goalkeeper, has yet to receive his bonuses, 11 months after Nigeria’s participation in the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon. Other team members have already received their bonuses. His rights, which total $25,000, are still with the NFF.
The sole NPFL player on the squad was John Noble. Super Eagles players received their incentives two months after the competition, according to writer Shina Oludare.
According to the investigation, Noble attempted to receive his bonus by proxy but failed since he did not have a domiciliary account at the time.
Later, Noble received a message from his home address, which he passed to the Amaju-Pinnick-led NFF but received no response.
Ibrahim Gusau, who took over as NFF President in October, inherited the debt. He was made aware of this issue, as well as the NFF, but nothing has been done in almost three months.
Everyone at the NFF is aware of it, including former NFF President Amaju Pinnick, LMC CEO Shehu Dikko, and the team secretary, goalkeeper of the Super Eagles, but only a collection of lame explanations have been offered.
