With the commencement of the new NPFL season rumored to be on the 28th of December 2022, Ondo State Sports Complex, home ground of Sunshine Stars FC has been renovated and upgraded to the standard set by the Interim Management Committee (IMC) ahead of the upcoming NPFL season.
The new development at the city Stadium in Akure the state capital took a new look after the Interim Management Committee had ordered clubs to renovate their facilities in order for it to be accredited for the new season.
The Pitch, Dressing room, Conference/Press Room, State Box, Floodlights, are amongst the facilities that wore a new look as the facility awaits certification from IMC to host all of Sunshine Stars’s 19 home matches of the NPFL 2022/2023 season.
