A Facebook user by the name, Monday Opaluwa has said that single mothers should be reserved for men who need a second or third wife and not a young man who has never married before.
Opaluwa was reacting to a post made on Friday night on a facebook group titled, “Things that make you say chai.”
In the post, a member of the group, Emmans Chapter had said everyone makes mistakes, but advised men never to get married to single mothers.
He did not however, state his reason for such an advice.
He wrote, “We all make mistakes but never marry a woman with a child.”
As expected, torrents of reactions started pouring in for the post.
In his reaction, Opaluwa concurred with the post, disclosing that he was once a victim, noting that he regretted it deeply.
He wrote, “You are right! I was a victim and I regretted it deeply!.”
When another user asked him what was the outcome, Opaluwa went further to disclose that he could no longer bear what he described as “shit.”
According to him, the union hit the rocks after two, adding that he still hasn’t recovered from the trauma of the experience.
Though, he admitted that it is a long story, he did not however reveal in details, what actually happened.
He urged young men not to make such mistake he made, noting that no love should push such a man into marrying a single mother.
He wrote, “I could not bear the shit! The marriage scattered after two years! Till today, I have not recovered from the trauma!
It’s a lengthy story I cannot tell you everything here!
“However, the bottom line is that, don’t make that mistake as a young man! No love that should push you into that! Single mothers should be for men who need second or third wife! Not a young man who has never married before!
“People were advising me then but I refused to listen! Thus I know some people will kick against this post.”
