It appears former Kaduna Senator, Shehu Sani may have mocked the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, going by his tweet on Saturday morning.
Sani in the tweet said it appears that without Tinubu, better known as “Jagaban” in the presidential race, the political space could have been boring.
According to Sani, every of Tinubu’s outings generates issues in the social media realm and brings out the creative spirit of the young, whether “it’s bala green or tweeting from Instagram.”
He wrote, “It appears without the Jagaban in the race, the political space could have been boring. Every of his outing generates issues in the social media realm & brings out the creative spirit of the young; Whether it’s bala green or tweeting from Instagram.”
Recall that Tinubu has been making several gaffes in his speeches at rallies which have raised concerns about the mental ability of the former Lagos governor.
Recently in Owerri, the Imo State capital, Tinubu, at a meeting with private sector stakeholders, tried to justify his shunning of town hall and debates organised by media organisations during his remarks.
He slurrily said, “a town hall, different from “balabloo-blu-bulava”, to the consternation of his listeners. It was not clear if APC presidential candidate was struggling to pronounce “hullabaloo”.
The apparent gaffe has elicited much criticism among Nigerians, with many pointing it out as further evidence of Tinubu’s mental inadequacy.
The gaffe has since been turned into a comedy skit/song by young Nigerians.
