Military authorities in Russia have claimed responsibility for the train attack that left no fewer than 25 Ukrainians dead.

The Wednesday attack was confirmed by the spokesman of Russian Defence Ministry, Igor Konashenkov.
And while authorities in Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital only reported the death of 25 people, Igor Konashenkov added that over 200 Ukrainian troops on their way to fight in the region of Donbas were killed in Dnipropetrovsk region town of Chaplyne.
The Russian official added that the precision missile hit a part of the train station used by the Ukrainian military, damaging, in addition to lives, military gear.
Confirming the attack, the deputy head of the Ukrainian presidential office, Kyrylo Tymoshenko said 30 people were injured in the attack, while 2 children were part of the 25 that died.
There has continued to be discrepancies in the severity of attacks during the ongoing Russian/Ukrainian war. Both camps present only information that suits them.
