Ronaldo tells Manchester United He Wants to Leave

Multiple reports have confirmed that Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo is interested in a move away from the club.

The 37-year-old is understood to have asked the club’s hierarchy to listen to suitable offers.

The Portuguese joined United where he first made a name for himself after leaving Juventus, but following the Old Trafford side’s very poor season, in which they could only manage to finish 6th, Ronaldo who is very competitive and who believes he still has much to offer, wants away.

Despite everything around him crumbling last season, the 5 time Balon d’Or winner still managed to score 18 goals in 30 appearances.

It is understood that he wouldn’t want to play in the Europa League. United have been adamant that the Portuguese ace is not for sale, following reports that Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes, discussed the possibility of a move to Chelsea with the Blues’ new owner Todd Boehly. The speculation has continued ahead of Ronaldo’s expected return to training.
