Christiano Ronaldo was the star of the night as his four goals helped Al Nassr to a convincing 4-0 win over Al Wehda.
The 38-year-old who now plays for Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr, having joined the club in January following his messy Manchester United departure started his fourth game for his new club on Thursday when Al Nassr faced Al Wehda in the Saudi Pro League.
With just 21 minutes ontbe clock, Ronaldo scored the opening goal of the night after finding the bottom right corner with a low and powerful strike from inside the area to make it 1-0.
Such a goal saw him hit the milestone and it was his second for the club so far, with his first coming in their recent 2-2 draw against Al Fateh.
He doubled their lead 19 minutes later, and completed his hat-trick from the spot at the start of the second half.
Ronaldo then went on to score a remarkable fourth goal, with the forward clearly finding his feet in his new league in the 61st minute as his side thrash Al Wehda 4-0.
Ronaldo is just the fifth player to have ever scored 500 league goals, legends including Pele and Ferenc Puskas also reached such a target.
It’s an accolade Messi has yet to reach as the Paris Saint-Germain and Argentina superstar has 490 league goals to his name.
The victory takes Al Nassr to the top of the league standings, leveled on points with Al Shabab on 37 points with a game in hand.
