Christiano Ronaldo has finally agreed to join Saudi Arabian Club, Al Nassr after weeks of conversations with the player.
The 37-year-old Portuguese star who featured for Portugal at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, signed a two-year contract until 2025.
Cristiano Ronaldo will earn around €200m-a-year, including all commercial deals.
The deal has been verbally agreed and he will travel to Saudi Arabia to sign the contract and do his medical. He won’t stay beyond his contract to help the World Cup bid as Portugal are trying for 2030.
Ronaldo parted ways with boyhood club Manchester United on his second spell at the English club in December, after misunderstanding with the club’s management.
Ronaldo holds the records for most appearances (183), goals (140), and assists (42) in the Champions League, goals in the European Championship (14), international goals (118), and joint-most international appearances (196).
He is one of the few players to have made over 1,100 professional career appearances, and has scored over 800 official senior career goals for club and country. He is the only player to score in five FIFA World Cup tournaments.
