Rishi Sunak has been declared Britain’s new Prime Minister.
According to our sources, Sunak, a former Chancellor, became favourite after closest contestant, Penny Mordaunt dropped out of the race.
Sunak replaces Liz Truss who resigned from the post just after 44 days.
Sunak becomes UK’s fifth Prime Minister in six years, its first Hindu leader and at 42, the youngest Prime Minister in over 200 years.
Sunak ran against Truss but lost out but has now been voted the leader of the Conservative Party.
