Former Kaduna central Senator, Shehu Sani has alerted Nigerians to the repercussions of the proposed redesign of the Naira.
In a tweet he posted on his official Twitter handle on Sunday evening, Sani said Sheikh Gumi hinted on such a possibility also.
Sani said, “The redesigning of Nigeria’s currency is allegedly forcing terrorists groups to collect ransom in foreign currency.This was earlier hinted by Sheikh Gumi & now confirmed by the Iswap online reports in the Lake Chad region. Bankers can now help in the tracking & interception.”
