
Alexander Sørloth has been awarded a fish bowl after winning Real Sociedad’s Player of the Month for January which has caused stares in the internet since its emergence this afternoon.
The 27-year-old Norwegian international forward was handed the fish bowl after an impressive January with the club in which he scored four goals in all competitions for the royal blues.
After joining Rb Leipzig from English premier league side Crystal Palace in the year 2020, the attacker was loaned to his current side having struggled for minutes in the German top flight league.
A similar case happened in 2019, when fellow Norwegian Martin Ødegaard was also presented with a fish after winning Real Sociedad’s coveted monthly honor during the now Arsenal’s midfielder loan spell from Real Madrid.
His eight league goals and one assist in 16 appearances has helped Real Sociedad to third position in the La Liga standings this season.
