Riyad Mahrez broke the deadlock in the 73rd after a first half that saw Guardiola’s men restrict Madrid to zero shots on goal.
The English side thought they had done enough to win it, only for the 19 year old, Rodrygo to come off the bench and score two in less than two minutes.
The final set to hold on 28th May in Paris will now be a repeat of the 2018 Kiev final that saw the Spanish side beat Liverpool 3:1 to claim the trophy.
