Kevin de Bruyne and Aymeric Laporte were both ruled out by illness and Phil Foden also dropped out of the side that drew 1-1 at Nottingham Forest on Saturday, with starts for Manuel Akanji, Nathan Ake and Riyad Mahrez.

City claimed Gvardiol had fouled Dias but the goal stood.
City thought they should have had a penalty deep into injury time for a handball, however, the referee, nor VAR, saw anything wrong and the match finished 1-1 with everything to play for in the second leg.
