Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has called on the Muslim Lagosians to offer prayers for Nigeria, and the state in particular, for peaceful and harmonious coexistence.
Deputy Gov. Dr Obafemi Hamzat conveyed this on behalf of Sanwo-Olu at the Special Ramadan Lecture and Tafsir programme held at the Lagos House Mosque Complex, Ikeja.
According to him, peaceful and harmonious living will galvanise the desired growth of the economy and foster prosperity for all.
He asserts that living in harmony and peace will catalyse the required economic growth and promote wealth for all.
He asked for ongoing prayers so that the government would continue to serve the people well and go above and beyond their expectations.
Sanwo-Olu also praised Lagos citizens for their large turnout in favour of Sen. Bola Tinubu’s reelection as governor and the country’s next president.
The faith placed in his administration, he assured, would not be taken for granted since he would improve the situation for the citizens of the state.
