Police in Lagos have arrested a 26-year-old man for falsification of medical licence.
According to SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the PRO of Lagos State Police Command, he has been using the fake license to practice as a doctor since the start of 2022.
He said that he was found out by keen Lagosians. He however did not reveal his name.
He said, “This 26-year old man faked a medical license in his name and has been practicing as a medical doctor since January 2022.
“Commendation goes to public-spirited Lagosians who spotted him and promptly informed the Police. You have saved lives.
If you see something, say something!”
Asked if the suspect has prior knowledge of medicine, Hundeyin said “Smart you. He dropped out after some years of studying Medicine.”
