The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu was in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital on Saturday for the wedding fatiha of his running mate, Kashim Shettima’s daughter.
The wedding fatiha which took place at the Palace of the Shehu of Borno, His Eminence, Alhaji Abubakar Ibn Garbai Umar El Kanemi, was also attended by Chief of Staff to the President (COS), Ambassador Professor Ibrahim Gambari, who represented President Muhammadu Buhari.
Others present were Ahmed Lawan, the president of the Senate, Babagana Zulum, the governor of Borno State.
