Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia(PhD) has won the Benue State All Progressives Congress governorship primaries.
The primaries which were direct, held across the council wards in the state on Friday.
Card carrying members of the APC came out en masse to vote for the Roman Catholic Priest.
Many thought the party would opt for indirect primaries like the People’s Democratic Party had done, but the opposition chose to go with direct primaries.
