The President, Muhammadu Buhari joked with footballer, Kenneth Omeruo, over their heights during a meeting in Spain on Thursday.
Buhari met with some selected Nigerians in diaspora and Nigeria football players plying their trade in Spanish capital, Madrid, during his State Visit.
In a video posted by Buhari Sallau on Facebook, as Omeruo stood beside him to take pictures, the retired major general turned and said, “I hope you are not taller.”
Kenneth Omeruo who is 6ft 1inch tall signed for Chelsea back in 2012 but failed to make a single appearance for the Stamford Bridge side until his departure in 2019. He now plays for Leganes in Spain.
