Peter Obi has vowed to run a women-inclusive government when he wins next February’s presidential election.
The former Anambra State Governor stated this on Tuesday after he attended the ‘Women for a New Nigeria’ meeting that held in Abuja.
He attended the event with his wife, Margaret Obi. Also in attendance was Aisha Yesufu, renown human rights activist who is also an avid supporter of Obi.
Obi said in a tweet after the invent, “My dear wife and I attended the town hall meeting themed, ‘Women for a new Nigeria’ in FCT, Abuja.
“I will carry women along, bring them to the leadership table where decisions are being made, and also allow them to utilize their potentials for the betterment of Nigeria.”
