Peter Obi paid a visit to Baze University Hospital in Abuja, where he supervised the equipment the facility has.
In his company was his running mate, Prof. Baba Yusuf Ahmed-Datti, the founder of Baze University.
Obi expressed optimism that with the quality of the hospital, medical tourism that has cost Nigeria alot of money will soon be a thing of the past.
“This morning, I had the privilege of visiting the Baze University Hospital in Abuja and inspecting the facilities. Dr Datti Baba-Ahmed was on hand to show me around. This institution is exemplary and reflective of a centre of excellence, and what domestic entrepreneurs and investors can contribute to nation-building,” Obi said in a tweet.
“With several more facilities like this, medical tourism for Nigerians will be a thing of the past. This is simply awesome.”
