Football legend, Pele has been admitted to a hospital as he continues to battle cancer.
According to Sky Sports, he was admitted to Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo on Tuesday night, where he has been a regular visitor in recent months.
The hospital has not yet released a statement on his condition but experts say he has generalised swelling around his body, as a result of the chemotherapy he’s undergoing.
His daughter Kelly who has been her father’s spokesperson in recent times said on social media that there’s no surprise and there’s no emergency.
With Kelly far away in Qatar for the World Cup and the hospital saying little, the situation surrounding his health has been left to speculation.
Reports in Brazil say the people are worried the liver of the 82-year-old athlete may be failing him.
