The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP National Working Committee (NWC) has approved the reinstatement of the dissolved Executive Committee members of the party in Kano State.
This followed NWC’s extensive deliberation and in obedience to the Order of Court.
This was disclosed in a terse statement issued on Monday night by the Spokesman of the PDP, Hon. Debo Ologunagba.
Recall that the PDP NWC dissolved the Sagagi-led executive council days before the defection of Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso to the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).
According to the statement, “To this effect, the Alhaji Shehu Sagagi-led Kano State Executive as well as all Excutive members of our Party at all levels in Kano State are hereby reinstated.
“Also in obedience to a similar Judgment of Court, the NWC has declared Barr. Silas Onu as the Ebonyi State Chairman of our great Party.
“All leaders, critical stakeholders, relevant agencies and our teeming members, particularly in Kano and Ebonyi States in the two states should please note.”
