Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and King of England, King Charles III met at Buckingham Palace during the funeral of the late Queen Elizabeth II.
The vice president was there to represent Nigeria and president Muhammadu Buhari who is currently in the United States for the United Nation’s General Assembly meeting.
Osinbajo said, “Nigeria joins the government and people of the United Kingdom, the Commonwealth and the rest of the world in expressing our sincere condolence to the royal family on the passing of the Monarch for all seasons Queen Elizabeth II.”
While there, Osinbajo also signed the condolence register.
