The length of Ivan Toney’s ban simply reaffirms my pre-existing perception of what the FA deem’s more important in fighting.
Remember when Suarez was handed a mere 8 match ban for racism? It is this double standards that make the English FA stink. But it is not just the English, the Italians also do same. Remember when Lukaku was shown a red card for celebrating by shushing the fans who racially abused him all game? Indeed sin doesn’t have a tribe.
I am not in support of Toney getting punished for breaking the law. But how’s a man getting banned for close to a year for engaging in activities his shirt sponsor(Hollywood Bets) promotes?
Uneven scales ⚖ like this one reminds us of why we need a perfect Judge(God) who must someday judge the world, else those who pervert justice this much will get away with their wrongs. Come, Lord Jesus!
