At least one person died, while another sustained injuries when a building collapsed in Kano on Tuesday.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria, the building which was under construction is a storey building.
Speaking to newsmen, the Kano Territorial Coordinator, National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, Dr Nuradeen Abdullahi, confirmed the incident and said NEMA operatives had already been mobilised to the site of the incident.
He added that the debris was still being combed in search for more victims of the collapse.
