The Kano State Anthem Bill 2023 has been approved by the Kano State Executive Council, and it has been sent to the State House of Assembly for consideration of becoming law.
The State Rural Access Roads Establishment Bill 2022 and the State Roads Funding 2022 Bill were also approved by the KSEC.
These were said on Sunday by Mallam Muhammad Garba, the state’s commissioner of information and internal affairs.
He said, “The Anthem, which has features for which Kano is renowned, that included among other things, inspire and instill deep sense of patriotism, pride and conscious reawakening of virtuous qualities of the founding fathers; passionate objectives of a great sense of macro as well as micro nationalism and pride in the hearts and minds of Kano people.”
