Head Coach of the Nigeria Premier Football League club Wikki Tourists, Kabiru Dogo has resigned from his position.
Dogo tendered his resignation letter to the management of the Bauchi-based club on Tuesday afternoon.
In his letter, he stated that his reasons for quitting his role with the club is due to the utimatum given to him by the club management after the club’s poor start to the season.
An ultimatum he is not aware of not until the club’s social media post. He also touched on the club’s unwillingness to pay his outstanding salaries.
After Wikki Tourists’s 0-0 home draw to league’s debutants Doma United in a Matchday four encounter on Sunday, the club through it’s social media have the coaching crew a two-game ultimatum which takes effect from Matchday five’s visit to Port Harcourt to face league champions Rivers United on Wednesday.
Wikki Tourists have picked up just one point from possible 12 this season. All through, the club ended their losing streak last Sunday but they sit bottom of group B ahead of their week five fixture against table toppers Rivers United.
