Group A
Plateau United defeated struggling Kwara United 1-0 at the new Jos stadium in Jos courtesy of a Murtala Dagbo’s half hour mark own goal to help the plateau state based team moved up to fifth in group A.

Champion Rivers United fell to their first defeat of the season after a 2-1 away loss to league’s debutants Doma United. Cameroonian Ngweni Denis Ndasi’s 22nd minute goal was canceled by Musa Usman’s brace which helped the home side to their second win of the season.
An early goal by Stephen Chukwude ensured Sunshine Stars get their second win of the season at home to Bayelsa United while Abubakar Aliyu Ibrahim’s goal at the at the stroke of halftime hands Wikki Tourist a 1-0 win to Enugu Rangers.
Matchday six fixtured ended with Niger Tonardoes drawing 0-0 to Lobi stars. The draw moved the away side to the top of the table on goal difference while the home side remained in sixth position in the group.
