After months of consultations and searching for a running mate for Rabiu Kwankwaso, the NNPP has opted for Bishop Isaac Idahosa.
The party had considered a merger with Labour Party but neither Peter Obi nor Rabiu Kwankwaso were willing to settle for the VP position. Read that story here.
The party announced the choice of Idahosa on Thursday afternoon on their official Twitter handle.
The tweet simply read “Our VP Pastor Bishop Isaac Idahosa from Edo State.”
Idahosa, who hails from Edo State is the founder, presiding Bishop and the senior pastor of God First Ministry, AKA Illumination Assembly, Lekki Light Centre (LLC), Ajah, Lagos.
Bishop Isaac Idahosa is not in anyway related to the late Archbishop Benson Idahosa, the founder of Church of God Mission International.
