According to the Peoples Democratic Party deputy Governor candidate in Lagos State — Funke Akindele, only PD has a solution to the problems facing the country.
This was stated by Ms Akindele at a youth event in the Lagos neighbourhood of Alimosho that was put on by the Lagos Youths Movement (LYM).
She urged the youth to support all PDP candidates, claiming that supporting Abdul-Azeez (Jandor) Adediran, the party’s nominee for governor of Lagos, would ensure the state had competent leadership.
“It is our right to participate in the coming elections and Lagos politics because we reside and do business in the state. In the 2023 general elections, we must get it right by voting Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as president and Dr Abdul-Azeez Adediran (Jandor) as Lagos governor. Enough is enough in Lagos.
Her words goes thus: “Jandor and I have never held any political office but had been in private businesses developing talents. With my film organisation, I have nurtured talents that have added value to the development of Lagos and Nigeria.
“It is our right to participate in the coming elections and Lagos politics because we reside and do business in the state.
