Peter Obi has vowed to improve Nigeria’s foreign policy if he wins next year’s presidential election.
Obi who is contesting on the platform of Labour Party was in Frankfurt, Germany on Friday as he met with Nigerian diasporans living in the European nation.
Amongst other things, Obi said if he wins, diasporans will have the right to vote in the 2027 elections.
“We will continue to engage the Nigerian Diaspora in ways that is mutually beneficial. By 2027 election, Nigerian Diaspora must have a voice via absentee ballots.”
He also said education will be given priority.
“We will aggressively pursue human capital development in the education and health sectors with a view of meeting global funding targets and best practices.”
