In the early hours of Monday, 24th October 2022, drivers and passengers plying the Katsin-Ala- Takum Road, Benue State, staged a peaceful protest against excessive Police extortion.
The commercial road users said enough is enough, insisting that they are tired of being extorted of their hard earned money by corrupt policemen deployed along that route to beef up security.
According to Benue News Flash, both the passengers and the drivers occupied the said road, refusing to move, a situation which resulted in heavy traffic in that part of the state.
