Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes had a car accident on Monday, but came out unhurt.
The 27-year-old was driving to Manchester United’s training facility at Carrigton early in the morning in his £94, 000 Porsche when the accident happened.
The incident left his car damaged, and later had to hitch a ride home with Juan Mata.
According to Sky Sports, no parties involved are understood to have sustained serious injuries and Fernandes is expected to train with the rest of the squad today.
“Obviously the accident happened on the way to Carrington, but as far as I know nobody was injured,” Rangnick said at his pre-match press conference.
“He trained with the team and he was ok. That’s why I think he will also be ok for tomorrow.”
United face a Liverpool side that recently beat Manchester City to reach their second final this term, and will be hoping to avoid a repeat of the first leg at Old Trafford that saw Jurgen Klopp’s men run out comfortable 5 nil winners.
